Cemengal completes contract for Cemindo Gemilang

Cemengal of Spain has completed an engineering and supply contract for Indonesian cement producer Cemindo Gemilang. The contract, signed on 22 July 2016, was for three cement grinding units. In a reference letter dated 26 April 2017 and posted on Cemengal’s website, Anang Adji Sunoto, project and operation director of Cemindo Gemilang, wrote: "This engineering and supply contract was performed within due time, quality, budge and safety requirements."

Aditya Birla group company UltraTech Cement reported higher revenue and volume growth for the second quarter of FY16 as well as a better operational performance during the period. UltraTech Cement reported a 15 per cent rise in net profit of INR8.4bn (US$138m) for the first quarter of the year on cost control initiatives.
